Chennai, 3 April 2011: Sicagen India Ltd has recently acquired Singapore-based Wilson Cables Private Limited, a manufacturer of premium cables for industrial and other critical applications.
The "WILSON CABLES" range includes flexible cables, power cables, fire resistant cables, instrumentation cables, PVC insulated cables (armored/unarmored), XLPE insulated cables (armored/unarmored), industrial cables, coaxial cables, oil & gas cables, and shipboard cables.

Apart from the Singapore market, "WILSON CABLES" is exported to countries such as China, Hong Kong, Brunei, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Maldives, Mauritius, and countries in West Asia.

The new acquisition will strengthen Sicagen's existing marketing businesses and help increase revenue and profits.
